On May 13, 2026 entered a strategic technology partnership with UK humanoid maker Humanoid: a binding phased deployment agreement to bring an estimated 1,000–2,000 wheeled humanoid units onto Schaeffler manufacturing floors globally by 2032 (RaaS model; first systems live in Germany by end of 2026), plus a 5-year actuator supply agreement under which Schaeffler becomes Humanoid's preferred supplier covering >50% of its joint-actuator demand for wheeled platforms through 2031. Notable as both a deployer (buyer) and a component supplier in the same deal.
